Travellers Stranded As Flood Takes Over Odo Ogun Bridge (Photos)

Our correspondent gathered from the travellers that the flood has taken over the Odo Ogun bridge since Saturday.

 

Daily Post reports that many travellers who were plying the Eruwa- Ibadan road in Oyo State have been left stranded.

According to the report, that the travellers have been stranded since Saturday.

The flood resulted from continuous rain witnessed in the area on Friday and Saturday.

This development made it impossible for travellers plying the road to continue their journey.

The Odo Ogun bridge is a major bridge along the Eruwa -Ibadan road.

The road is the major road that links Ibadan with Ibarapa geo-political zone.

It was learnt that some travellers going to Ibadan from Eruwa and those going to Eruwa from Ibadan slept on the highway on Saturday, while some of them had to go back to take Moniya- Iseyin route on Sunday.

The situation was still the same at the time of filing this report on Sunday.
