A fatal road-crash was today recorded in one of the states in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria with victims trapped in the destruction.

This accident involving 3 cars and a lorry occurred at Isuofia town in Anambra state. Some passengers in the small vehicles died on the spot while some were trapped alive inside the heavily mangled cars.
It was alleged that the lorry driver was drunk.
One of the crashed cars had to be dismantled with an axe to rescue a driver who was seriously injured in the ill-fated crash.
