2016 National Budget: Nigerian Senate Suspends Plenary Session for One Week

The Nigerian Senate has today announced to the public of its decision to suspend of its plenary session for one week to deliberate on the 2016 budget filled will errors and reported fraud.

 
As the debate, criticisms and mixed reaction trails the 2016 National Budget which was reportedly filled with errors, inflated figures, unnecessary spendings and alleged fraud, the Nigerian Senate has today, announced the suspension of its plenary session for one week to enable them deliberate on the 2016 budget presented to the joint assembly in December last year.
 
The session will resume on the 23rd of February.
