The crisis rocking the Kogi State House of Assembly has finally claimed victims as the Speaker of the House and some other principal officers have been impeached.

The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Momoh Jimoh Lawal has been impeached. He was impeached alongside the Majority Leader, Kolawole Matthew, Deputy Speaker, Alih Ajuh.
According to
Vanguard, the new Majority Leader of the House, Friday Sani disclosed that the impeachment became necessary because Lawal was running the house like a one-man-show.
However, Lawal has said the news of his impeachment is a big joke as he described it as a 'Kangaroo' arrangement.
