Man Missing for Many Days Found Slaughtered in His Room in Kano

A man who went missing leading his family to announce his disappearance on radio has shocked the residents of Kano after he was found slaughtered in his room.

 
Kabir Umar Gumel who was declared missing for five days has been found in his room brutally slaughtered by unknown assailants in his Yakasai residence, Kano municipal on Saturday.
 
This comes barely five days after he was declared missing by his family. 
 
His family revealed he had gone missing on Wednesday prompting announcement to be made on some selected radio stations.
 
Vanguard reports that a family member who does not want his name revealed said that things came to a climax Saturday during a wedding Fatiha hosted by the family when a search team was directed to check his isolated apartment within the family compound. 
 
Explaining how the discovery was made, a source revealed that the search team had to scale through the fence to gain entrance into late Gumel’s apartment which was locked from within.
 
He said “the search team were shocked when they discovered that Gumel was slaughtered” and the corpse was decomposing.
 
According to the family source, the incident was promptly reported to the police who arrived in good time. Confirming the incident, the Kano police Image Maker, DSP Magaji Musa Majia said that full investigation had since commenced to unraveled the mystery. He assured that police would leave no stone unturned to ascertained the hidden facts as well as those behind the dastardly act.
