CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele

In an exclusive and shocking disclosure, SaharaReporters has revealed that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Godwin Emefiele, has today handed out jobs of the apex bank to the children of those highly connected in order to save his own.

It can be recalled that we reported it here yesterday that the CBN governor, may be the next top profile government official to lose his job as top presidential aide confided on Monday that the dragnet is drawing closer to Emefiele, who was appointed as head of the nation’s apex bank by former President, Goodluck Jonathan on June 3, 2014.

The source stated, "What people don’t know is that the President has made up his mind that Emefiele must go. But he only wants to do it at the best time. He believes he should get as much information as possible from the CBN chief before dispensing with him. If he just sacks him, it will not benefit the nation."

In a new report today, the CBN governor allegedly employed former VP Atiku's daughter, Maryam, IG of Police, Solomon Arase's daughter, Claire, Minister of Interior, Alhaji Dambazzau's son, Farouk Daura, and the newly wed wife of President Buhari's photographer, Bayo Omoboriowo.
