In a statement released alongside the video, Tinubu stated that he is strong, healthy and ready to serve Nigerians from day one in office.

The Spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, Dino Melaye has broken his silence after the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu released a video to show that he's fit and healthy.

Recall that Tinubu in the video released via his Twitter handle on Sunday, denied reports that he has withdrawn from the 2023 presidential race.

In a statement released alongside the video, Tinubu stated that he is strong, healthy and ready to serve Nigerians from day one in office.

“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.

“Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One,” he had said.

He was forced to release the video after Nigerians demanded to know his whereabouts amid talks that he may been suffering from a serious ailment.

Recall also that he was absent at the signing of the peace accord for the 2023 elections and the postponement of the inauguration of the APC presidential campaign council.

Reacting to the development via his Twitter handle on Monday, Melaye suggested that the former Governor of Lagos State is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

He wrote: “Why Emilokan dey bike…Read,” with a screenshot of an article on Parkinson’s disease patients.
