Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has praised veteran actress, Joke Silva.

This comes after Silva showed support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

On Monday, Silva with Foluke Daramola and others joined the APC women’s rally in support of Tinubu.

Few days earlier, the thespian was announced as a member of the women’s wing of Tinubu’s presidential campaign council.

She was tasked with the responsibility of heading the Creative and Entertainment Industry committee of the council.

While the rally lasted, Silva posted a video with Lagos First Lady, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and others dancing and waving brooms, the party’s symbol via her Instagram page.

But Twitter users, particularly the ‘Obidients’ criticised and condemned the celebrated actress for her decision to support Jagaban.

However applauded Silva for her decision, urging her to ignore naysayers who lashed out at her over same because it was her absolute prerogative to support any candidate she seemed fit.

Despite being an Atiku supporter, tableshaker hailed Joke and her hubby, Olu Jacobs describing them as ‘credit’ to Nigeria.

“We love you @JokeSilva. Never mind these people. Those that commend you are more than those that condemn you. You have a right to support Tinubu, and though I support Atiku, I can still say that you and Olu Jacobs are a credit to Nigeria. Ignore them and bloom! #TableShaker,”, he wrote.
