Secretary of the organisation, Sina Akinpelu, who spoke with The Guardian in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, said Tinubu had not been in support of Yoruba agenda.

The Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) has stated its position ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

OPC yesterday, explained that it would not support the ambition of the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, in 2023.

Secretary of the organisation, Sina Akinpelu, who spoke with The Guardian in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, said Tinubu had not been in support of Yoruba agenda.

Akinpelu said that all the projects and programmes Yoruba groups had taken to him since 1999 did not receive his support, saying Tinubu is always pro-North.

“Tinubu is always against Yoruba agenda. Most of the Yoruba projects we have taken to him since 1999, he is always against them.

“Tinubu believes in northern agenda. He is always against any agenda that is against the North. He is subject to northern oligarchy because he was brought up by the PDM.”
