After finding out she owns the house, he cut ties with her and advised her to get a room apartment instead.
A Twitter user has taken to the microblogging platform to recount how a man stopped speaking to her after she revealed that she built the house she was living in.
According to her, her friend told her then that she shouldn’t have told him that she was the owner of the apartment.
She also mentioned how he thought she was renting the apartment and had suggested she got a cheaper place because according to him, she shouldn’t be spending so much on renting an apartment.
However, after finding out she owns the house, he cut ties with her and advised her to get a room apartment instead.
In her words:
“I never forgot (this was years ago) when this guy found out that I owned the house I lived in, I never heard from him again. My friend said you shouldn’t have told him. I said he advised me to downsize and rent a 1 bdrm apt instead of a house 🤷🏾♀️”.
