An NGO who requested the list of best student in each state in Nigeria from WAEC for Scholarship has gotten a shocking response as WAEC demanded a whooping amount as processing fees.

A social media user, Abd'Aziz Bakare, has revealed an official letter allegedly issued by West African Examination Council (WAEC) demanding N1.85 million to process the list of best students in each state of the federation, for 2014/2015 May/June Senior Secondary School Examination which was requested by an NGO, Edubox, who wanted to use it to reward the outstanding students.

In a letter dated 8th December, 2015, the CEO of Edubox, Sanusi Tosin, wrote WAEC, requesting for the list of the students in the 36 states of the country.
