A man has gotten much more than he bargained for when he tried to steal wires from an electric pole as he met his untimely end in the process.

The photo above shows the moment a man was brought down from an electric pole after he was electrocuted.
Residents said, the man was electrocuted when he attempted to steal 11000-volt electrical wires from the pole at night in Sabha, Libya.
He was almost halfway through when he was killed by electrocution.
His body was taken down yesterday morning by men from the power authority.
