Rumours making rounds on social media reveal Nigerian telecommunication giants may have parted way with P-square following an unprofessional act.

If latest reports are anything to go by, Nigeria’s biggest telecommunications company Globacom will not be renewing their contract with the multi-award winning singing duo, P-Square, as one the telecom giant's brand ambassador.

According to multiple sources,  a top manager in GLO disclosed that the decision was taken due to the show of shame that ensued between the company’s representatives and Peter, one half of the P-Square twins, during the grand finale of the 'Dance with Peter' talent hunt show.

He also admitted that GLO had defaulted on some of its promises made as the sole sponsor of the show but expressed dissatisfaction on how Peter overreacted by insulting their hierarchy.

It was also gathered that when the company's chairman, Mike Adenuga heard of the development, he felt embarrassed and gave the order that P-square can no longer be his company’s ambassador.

There is yet no official statement from either parties as we are still investigating and making entreaties to the brothers to confirm or deny the rumours.

P-Square have been ambassadors for the telecoms company since 2010 in a deal reportedly worth over N240million for a four year deal which was later on renewed.
