Labour Party's Women Leader Shot Dead In Kaduna

Edward Simon Buju, the Publicity Secretary of Labour Party, Zone 3, Kaduna State, confirmed the assassination of the women leader.

 

Mrs. Victoria Chintex, a Labour Party’s women leader in Kaduna State, has died.

The woman was shot dead by gunmen who stormed her house on Monday night.

It was learnt that Chintex, was the Labour Party’s women leader of Kaura, Kaduna State.

Her husband was also said to have sustained injuries from shots in his leg.

Edward Simon Buju, the Publicity Secretary of Labour Party, Zone 3, Kaduna State, confirmed the assassination of the women leader.

Buju, according to Grassroot Reporters, described the late Chintex as an industrious, hardworking and dedicated woman who died at a time the Party and the country needed her most.

He called on the people of Kaura Local Government and the party faithful to be law abiding, urging the police to investigate the murder and bring the perpetrators of the dastard act to book.
