Officers of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested a witch doctor in Katsina State.

The witch doctor, who specializes in praying for and providing charms to protect terrorists operating in Northwest Nigeria against gunshot penetration was arrested by the Katsina State Police Command.

The 53 year-old suspect, according to police report, was arrested along Maiduguri Road at Sabuwa LGA of Katsina State with four native bullet proof jackets, covered with criminal talisman

The Command’s spokesman, SP Gambo Isah, also noted that the alleged witch doctor his confessional statement disclosed that he sells each of the native bulletproof jacket to the terrorists at the rate of N60,000.

“The suspect in the course of investigation, confessed to be a spiritualist that supplies terrorists with Gun-Jazz and criminal charms for gun protection and also intercede on their behalf to protect them from being arrested or harmed by security agents in all their heinous dealings.

"He also admitted that he sells the native bullet proof jackets at the cost of sixty thousand naira, (N60,000:00K) to any interested terrorist,” SP Gambo stated.
