Nathaniel Dem Danjuma Dawa, a Nigerian military officer, has been killed by suspected bandits.

"This military officer, Nathaniel Dem Danjuma Dawa, elder brother to my good friend and priest, Rev Fr Bitrus Dawa was killed by bandits on his way to Abuja.
"May his soul rest in peace and may God comfort and console the family. My friend, may God be present in your hearts in this time of grief," he wrote.
