The filmmaker spoke during his appearance on TVC’s “Your View” on Monday where he detailed the reason for his action which shocked many.

He began by expressing the significant role Tinubu has played towards his being alive, noting he would go to any length to prove his support for the APC principal.

“The Almighty God used Asiwaju, and Dapo Abiodun when I first fell sick. Asiwaju, Dapo Abiodun and MC Oluomo, He used them to hold my soul.

“I can do anything to support Asiwaju. As long as I believe this thing has nothing to do with any other person, I can do it to any length; deliberately and I’ll have no cause to regret.

“I’ll go straight to what I did last four days ago, the reason why I did it.”

Finally opening up on the reason for his action, Olaiya Igwe stated: “Bola Tinubu has done a lot in my life and I have said this in most of my interviews. I was asked to stand up and go and do it spiritually.

“I have a gift of revelation from Almighty God. At times, I see what God has for me before it happens.

“I was sleeping that day and a voice came to me and said ‘Please stand up, you said you love Asiwaju and he has been assisting you?’ And I said ‘yes.’ And he said, ‘Stand up, go and do this and this for him.'”

On Saturday, the film star in a viral video was captured stripped as he prayed at the beach for the electoral victory of Tinubu.

The video, which elicited mixed reactions from fans, captured the veteran actor from behind stripped.

He turned around and was caught in a headshot as he prayed to the ocean for Asiwaju’s victory in the forthcoming poll.
