President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberisima, has denied going underground since her preferred candidate, former President Goodluck Jonathan lost re-election, saying she is in the UK schooling.
Since former President Goodluck Jonathan lost his re-election, one of his most vocal campaigners and President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima, has gone underground, forcing people to speculate she is still mourning the defeat of her preferred presidential candidate.
While it may be wrong to assume she was the only one in the entertainment industry that placed high hopes on Mr. Jonathan coming back for a second term, her case is special because she was most times in the forefront, mobilizing her colleagues to endorse the ex-president. But elections are over now and a new President in the person of Muhammadu Buhari is in place but the beautiful AGN President is still nowhere to be found.
However, in a chat with Saturday PUNCH, IB, as she is fondly called by her colleagues, asked 'bad belle' (nay sayers) people to leave her alone as she was busy in the UK schooling.
"I just rounded off a course in directing in the UK. I intend to start my Masters in Audio Visual Management soon. That is why I am in the UK. Make 'bad belle' people leave me alone o", she said.
