A mother has been moved to tears after her sick son left a heartbreaking letter explaining reasons why he doesn't want to be a burden to her because of his cancer sickness.

A leukaemia patient from eastern China has disappeared from hospital two days after his mother remarried, leaving a note saying he no longer wanted to be a burden on his family, a newspaper reported.
The 21-year-old man from a village near Weifang in Shandong province has been suffering from leukaemia since 2014 and disappeared from the hospital on Sunday, the Qilu Evening News reported.
Wang Peihong asked his mother in the letter not to look for him and said he felt a weight had been lifted after he saw her in her wedding dress and remarried.
“Dear Mother, by the time you read this letter, I would have left ... Please do not search for me,” he wrote.
“When I saw you put on your wedding dress, I felt as if a heavy burden had been lifted off me. ... These past 21 years, I’ve never quite done anything for you. The only thing I could do was to ensure you had a good home to return to, where you can live a peaceful, stable life.”
Wang, whose father died in 2011, fully supported and encouraged the wedding on Friday in the hope that his mother would lead a happy life after he dies, the report said.
It was an emotional encounter
Wang told the newspaper in an earlier report that his medical care had put his family heavily in debt and that he had considered giving up his treatment, but his last wish was to see his mother happily married again.
He posted on social media to help crowdfund her wedding.
Wang’s mother’s new husband has been helping to take care of him and his grandmother since last year.
Wang’s mother told the newspaper she has tried to contact her son, but with no success.
In the last part of Wang’s letter, which he left in his hospital ward, he said: “Mum … I don’t wish to cause you worry any more. I am very thankful and grateful for your care and nurturing these 21 years. I wish you a blissful lasting marriage.”
