A man has caused a stir as police arrested him after he ran into a church and tore up pages of the Bible before going on to burn it.
Police have nabbed a n*ked man in North Dakota after he broke into a church and burning a Bible.
The man identified as Chance Zahn, 21, is facing two counts of burglary and an arson charge after an incident that began when police were summoned to a Fargo car wash around 4:20 a.m. after an alarm went off.
After police arrived at the scene, they found a broken window and a pile of wet clothing, according to the Grand Forks Herald.
After following the trail of evidence to the roof of the building and realized that the suspect had gotten trapped on the roof while naked and was forced to slide to the ground in the n*de.
Once he got off the roof, Zahn ran across the street to a church, where police found another broken window.
Police say that inside the building, Zahn tored pages out of a Bible and lit them on fire.
Officers set up a perimeter and nabbed the alleged intruder when he came around the corner a short time later.
Authorities said that Zahn was drunk and is now being held in the Cass County Jail.
