The culture of defection in the politics of Rivers state seems unending as it continues to go back and forth as the House of Assembly election draws nearer.

Many stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday changed their political affiliations as they defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a grand ceremony at Isiokpo, Ikwerre local government area in Rivers state.
The defectors burned their old PDP clothes and cards as they received a new political identity.
