A Nigerian Twitter user has proffered a lasting solution to the menace of cybercrime popularly referred to as “Yahoo Yahoo”.
Citing the current situation in the country, the user expressed that “Yahoo boys are doing more harm than corrupt politicians right now”.
He, however, advised that Nigerians should snitch on cyber criminals by reporting them to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
He Wrote:
“Yahoo boys are doing more harm than corrupt politicians right now. If u really want change, snitch on those u know by reporting ’em to the EFCC; They’re nothing but monsters. Don’t come online praying for a new Nigeria when u are into fraud or support cyber criminals. Take action.”
