Each player of the Super Eagles selected for Saturday's African Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad will be paid $5,000, about N1, 050, 000 as match bonus.

 
 
Each member of Nigeria’s Super Eagles selected for Saturday’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad will be paid $5,000, about N1, 050, 000 as match bonus, General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Sanusi Muhammed has revealed.
 
The former competitions director also showered praise on the national team for breaking down a very dogged Chadian side despite a very uninspiring first half display.
 
“We are happy that the team fought very hard to break the very resilient Chad national team. This is a good start and it will help the confidence of the players to continue to forge ahead in the qualifiers. 
 
“The NFF will continue to provide the enabling environment for the growth of football in this country and also I can confirm to you that each member of the Super Eagles team that played against Chad yesterday (Saturday) is entitled to $5000 as match bonus,” the NFF scribe said.
