A man who had never seen his father before, has taken a rather dramatic step to make his dreams a reality as he takes to social media to search for his father.
Jette Collins (pictured above) who will be 20 years old this year grew up with his mum but never knew his father so he took to facebook to see if he could find him.
The young man said his dad met his mum in 1996 at a "K-Rockathon concert. They had a one-night stand which led to his birth.
In the Facebook photo, Jette Collins holds a sign saying he's seeking a man named Jason who met his mother, Diana, at the K-Rockathon in Syracuse, N.Y.
He wrote: I am looking for a man by the name of Jason that lived in Syracuse,NY in 1996. He went to the first Krockathon in 1996 and met a girl named Diana Collins. I am the product of that night. I am not asking for anything. Just would like meet my biological father.
A lot of people have shown support for the man as they shared his post to spread the word.
