Real Madrid Legends came from 2-0 down to beat Liverpool Legends 4-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday evening. Headers from former Reds Harry Kewell and Michael Owen had given the Merseysiders a commanding lead midway through the first-half.

Roberto Carlos' penalty halved the arrears before half-time, and after the Brazilian had repeated the feat, Jose Amavisca completed Madrid's comeback with 22 minutes remaining, before Ivan Perez capped the turnaround with a late fourth for the Spanish giants.
With the proceeds of the charity match going towards Spanish Red Cross, 60,000 supporters were in attendance at the Santiago Bernabeu to watch the cream of Liverpool and Real Madrid's past clash in the Spanish capital.

The match itself, which was branded in the Spanish press as being a 'game of 15 European Cups', did not disappoint, with the guile and flair of Zinedine Zidane at the heart of the home side's best attacking combinations from the off.
