Controversial Senator Dino Melaye has landed on the news again after calling for the sack of Babatunde Fashola and begging President Muhammadu Buhari to takeover the power sector and save Nigerians.

Controversial and firebrand Senator, Dino Melaye has taken a swipe at Minister of Power, Housing and Works, Babatunde Fashola as he advised President Muhammadu Buhari to take over the Ministry of Power as the substantive minister and urgently ensure the country’s power challenges are resolved.
By asking Buhari to takeover, Dino is calling for the sack of Fashola for not making any positive impact in the power sector.
Melaye said his decision is informed by the epileptic and devastating condition the power sector has left many Nigerians which calls for immediate attention.
In a number of tweets, he made known his anger. He lambasted the government for increasing tariff when the supply of electricity is still epileptic and wondered if those Buhari are using actually are there to work for the people.
He urged Nigerians to put pressure on the government and the National Assembly to effect the needed change in the power sector.
