After a seven year break from the music industry, 49-year-old Janet Jackson has officially announced dates and venues for her 'Unbreakable World Tour'.
Seven years after she last released a studio album or performed at any show, Pop queen, Janet Jackson, on Monday, June 15, released dates for her 'Unbreakable World Tour'.
The official announcement today came on the heels of the promise Janet made on her 49th birthday last month that she was working on new music and a new tour
"This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement. I've been listening. Let's keep the conversation going", she said in a vine video she tweeted with the hashtag #ConversationsInACafe
According to a press release, the Unbreakable World Tour, whose 36-date run begins in August in Vancouver and terminates in Honolulu in November, will see the "Rhythm Nation" singer perform in Grand Rapids, Michigan as well as in Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego and more.
