A man of 23 years old has brutally murdered his step-mother and father over an incident that could easily have been settled amicably.
In a shocking incident, a 23- year old man killed his father and stepmother over a dispute.
The man identified as Sagar Dinkar and a resident of Maruti temple area in Wasind situated in Shahapur taluka of Thane, India district killed the duo because the stepmother accused him of hating her.
It was gathered that the accused who is unmarried was residing with his father Suresh, 45 and step mother Lata, 35 and frequently quarreled with Lata.
The police said incident took place on Monday around 4am, when Suresh came home late. Lata was infuriated seeing Suresh come back late that she raised objection. A heated argument ensued.
Suresh took a knife kept in home and stabbed the step-mother to death. The father who had come to support Lata was not spared as the son also stabbed him too. After stabbing Lata, he took a hard muller and smashed her face badly.
Locals rushed into the house and caught hold of the accused and later handed him to local Wasind police station who arrested him for murder.
