Kashim Shettima, the vice president-elect, has paid a visit to the former military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and former Head of State, General Abdulsalam Alhaji Abubakar.
He paid the visit in Minna, Niger State capital, on Thursday.
Shettima, who met the two leaders separately, said the visit was to check on the elder statesmen during Ramadan.
Speaking with journalists, the Vice President-elect said the elder statesmen have a lot to offer to humanity and the nation.
