Popular music star, Korede Bello, has been celebrated by his classmates as they hosted him to a surprise birthday party on campus in Lagos.
Don jazzy's Mavin records singer, Korede Bello was celebrated in his school on Monday, March 7th in the premises of the school, Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba, Lagos.
The self acclaimed mega superstar who clocked 20 on February 29 was given a surprise by his classmates as they hosted him to a surprise birthday party.
The Godwin singer who was so happy about the treat, shared photos from it on his Instagram timeline. He captioned it: "So I was in school today and my classmates threw me a surprise birthday celebration. OOOOSHEEEEYYYYYYY. Thanks ma people #NIJites #NIJ"
It can be recalled that
Korede matriculated at the NIJ on November 9, 2015 to obtain his higher national diploma (HND) and was initially reported to be missing classes which made some of his
lecturers threaten him of not going to graduate.
It seems he has now turned over a new leaf and adjusted his programme to accommodate his academic pursuit.
