As the Ooni of Ife braces up to get married very soon, an insight into how he met his wife-to-be has been revealed.
On Saturday, 12th March 2016, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi will take Wuraola Otiti Obanor as wife in a traditional marriage ceremony. Ooni's wife-to-be bears the same name as his late mother Princess Margaret 'Wuraola' Ogunwusi.
This will be the Ooni's second marriage as he was formerly married to Adebukunola (nee Bombata).
According to a source who disclosed the details to Dawn-To-Dusk News,the Ooni of Ife met Wuraola Obanor in Lagos where he lived previously and owned a thriving real estate business, Essential Homes headquartered in Lekki. It was in Lagos that the Ooni and Wuraola were said to have been introduced.
The source further revealed that: "Ooni is very happy and they get along so well. They're having a great time together.
"There are so many qualities that Ooni found in Wuraola: aside her beauty, she's respectful, gracious, cool-headed, and homely. Friends have since said they have never seen Ooni as happy as he is with Wuraola, and her joy is evident whenever they are together".
Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has a child, Adeola from a previous relationship.
