A man simply identified as Kenneth was recently arrested by operatives of the Kaduna State Police Command for the gruesome murder of his 27-year-old girlfriend, Ebenezer Agaba.
The suspect used a machete to hack the recent nursing graduate to death for allegedly plotting to dump him for another man after he claimed to have spent money on her.
Spokesperson of the command, DSP Mohammed Jalige, said the suspect was arrested from a planned mob action that would have led to his death.
Meanwhile, photos of the slain woman have emerged and friends and former course mates have been mourning Ebenezer, from Owukpa, Benue State, since the incident happened.
It was also gathered that the suspect is a tailor, also from Owukpa but based in Makurdi, Benue State.
