Some students of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun state are currently going through odd means to get water for use due to protracted issues of water scarcity.

The students in large numbers trying to get water desperately

This is the current situation for students in the United Kingdom hall of FUNAAB this morning, 10th of March.

Students had to queue to fetch a bucket of water which was virtually limited in quantity. Some students had to resort to getting water from an old well nearby.

Some students were seen heading towards the student union building all in a quest for water so as to make it early to an  8am lecture.

This was as a result of lack of power supply the previous day and the school authority failed to put on the generator at the stipulated time the previous night.

"Why should this be happening in a federal university?" a student asked with answers coming from nowhere.
