An accident in the South-western part of Nigeria has led to the destruction of lives and properties, where a trailer crashed into a police vehicle.

Earlier today, a heavy laden truck with building materials from Owerri, Imo state was said to have had a head-on collision with a moving vehicle from the airport axis leading to the death of two police officers.
An eye witness who spoke on the grounds of anonymity on telephone, said the incident occurred at Obibi junction, Naze, along Aba-Owerri road, a surburb in owerri North LGA.
According to him, neither the cause of the accident nor the identities of the victims involved could be ascertained.
When the a reporter visited the scene of the accident, rubbles and broken glasses as well as the ill-fated truck was seen to have barricaded the nearby building pulling down the fence in such a fatal manner.
