An innocent 15-year-old girl has been hospitalized at the Nairobi Women Hospital after she was forcefully circumcised and brutally r*ped by her own brother and father's friend. The incident happened in Kenya.
The gruesome act which happened in Kenya has been widely condemned and Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki has said that perpetrators of the unjust act must be brought to justice.
She spoke after visiting the hospitalized girl at the Nairobi Women Hospital. According to Daily Nation Uganda, Kariuki said the act is the most atrocious anyone could commit.
"I have just received information about the young girl two hours ago and decided to come see her. This is the most atrocious act anyone can commit," said CS Kariuki.
The hospital said the girl was admitted Wednesday but declined to reveal further information.
