They are currently having a hectic time connecting their destinations following the collapse of the bridge on the road.
PUNCH Metro reports that the collapse left motorists and commuters stranded along the Ogwashi-Uku-Kwale axis.
Our correspondent gathered that the bridge, which was under construction, was almost at the completion stage before it collapsed on Monday night.

The PUNCH correspondent, however, saw stranded motorists on both sides of the collapsed bridge.
Some commuters were also seen resorting to trekking across the collapsed bridge to join other vehicles that were equally stranded on that side of the bridge to continue their journey.
Efforts made to reach the State Commissioner for Works, Mr Noel Omodon, for comment, failed as calls put across to him were not responded to as of the time of filing this report.
It was, however, gathered that the commissioner had earlier inspected the collapsed bridge.
Meanwhile, motorists and commuters travelling to Kwale, Ozoro, Ughelli and Warri from Asaba had been advised to use alternative routes.
