A Nigerian woman who has been identified as Martina has been reportedly banished in Enugu State.

She was banished by members of her community, Iheakpu-Obollo Afor, in Udenu Local Government Council of Enugu State for allegedly cheating on his husband, identified as “Abisco in Ochisiri Iheakpu Obollo.”

According to a viral report on Facebook, Martina is allegedly not new to the act.

The report claimed that she had many times in the past appeased the land by performing rituals for her infidelity.

The unnamed source stated that Martina’s infidelity was responsible for her husband’s protracted sickness.

The source further added that the husband and his kinsmen agreed to banish Martina.

The post read: “A woman has been ban!shed in Iheakpu #Obollo Afor in Udenu Local Government Council area, for notor!ous cheating on his husband.

“The news gathered that the said woman has been doing that for long time and had been appeasing (rituals) the land.

“The closest person to the family told us that the husband has been sick for long time due to the sacrilege of his wife, and it’s against the tradition of the LAND. The HUSBAND and UMUNNA joined to banish the woman.

“The woman’s name is Martina. Her husband name is popularly known as Abisco in Ochisiri Iheakpu Obollo,” a Facebook user, Senator Chijinkem Ugwuanyi wrote.
