Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, has appointed Justina Abandina as chairman of the State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB) as well as four others for new offices.

In a statement released by Ayoade Folashade, the Secretary to Kogi state government, Governor Yahaya Bello, has appointed Justina Abandina as chairman of the State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB), adding that it takes immediate effect.
The statement also announced four other appointments, which are:
1. Yakubu Oseni, as chairman of the State Board of Internal Revenue
2. Emmanuel Odiniya, as chairman, Bureau of Local Government Pension
3. Robert Achanya as director-general, Bureau of Public Private Partnership
4. Moses Okezie as senior special assistant on speech writing to the governor.
The statement added that the new appointments were part of Governor Bello’s effort to position the government and ensure equitable distribution of dividends of democracy in the state.
