Olamide Hails Rema As ‘Calm Down’ Becomes Most Streamed African Song

The Plug founder, Bizzle Osikoya, shared the update on Wednesday with the caption “Amazing” via his Twitter handle, which Olamide retweeted with a “Greatness” caption.

 

Olamide, the popular Nigerian hip-hop star, has celebrated singer Rema.

He celebrated Rema as his hit song, ‘Calm Down’ becomes the most streamed African song on Spotify.

‘Calm Down’ hit 800 million streams on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Meanwhile, Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ jumped two places to peak at Number 3 on this week’s US Billboard Hot 100, extending its record as the highest-charting Nigerian song in the history of the chart.
