AC Milan Appoints Sinisa Mihajlovic After Firing Filippo Inzaghi

The appointment of Sinisa Mihajlovic has been confirmed by AC Milan after the dismissal of Filippo Inzaghi.

AC Milan has finally confirmed the appointment of Sinisa Mihajlovic as its new coach after firing Filippo Inzaghi.
 
 
Former Sampdoria boss Mihajlovic has signed a contract until June 2017.
 
The ANSA news agency had reported on June 4 that Inzaghi had been dismissed and was to be replaced by Mihajlovic, but the club only announced the news on Tuesday.
 
Later on Tuesday, June 16, Milan confirmed that Mihajlovic -- who had already said that he would be given the role -- had been handed a two-year contract.
 
Milan said on their official website: "After spells in charge of Bologna, Catania, Fiorentina, the Serbian national team and his last experience at Sampdoria, Sinisa Mihajlovic is officially the new coach of the Rossoneri.
