The police say Norbet will be arraigned in court as soon as possible while efforts are being made to arrest the other suspects.
A suspected armed robber who invaded a home in Parkview estate, Ikoyi on Friday, June 16, has been apprehended by the Lagos state police command.
According to police sources, a group of armed robbers stormed the affected house at about 1am and carted away valuable items.
The police were immediately informed and they surrounded the area. After a serious search, one of the suspected armed robbers identified as Tony Smart Norbet was apprehended.
Items recovered from him include two Samsung phones, five wrist watches, one camera, one flask and some jewelries. He had placed them in a bag and was about to run with them when he was apprehended.
The police say Norbet will be arraigned in court as soon as possible while efforts are being made to arrest the other suspects.
