The suspected criminals specialize in burgling and stealing valuable items from people's shops/ houses and robbing innocent people of their belongings.
The arrested suspects
A suspected armed robbery syndicate including a 13-year-old boy have been apprehended by the Adamawa state police command in Yola North local government area of the state.
Confirming the arrest to newsmen, the spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said the suspected criminals specialize in burgling and stealing valuable items from people's shops/ houses within the State Capital, attacking and robbing innocent people of their valuables.
He gave the names of the suspected criminals as Yusuf Bashir 18, lsa Muhammed 20, Ayo Morofade 18, Shuaibu Sudais 13 and Muhammed Hassan 20.
Nguroje mentioned that one Sewing Machine, Generator, Clothing Materials, Cutlass, Handsets amongst others were recovered from the suspects during the course of investigation.
He stated that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola , expressed happiness at the arrest of the suspects and has directed total clamp down on criminals who are bent at disrupting the peace of the public.
