A fatal road accident has taken place in the South-eastern part of Nigeria with a death recorded and goods destroyed.

This accident involving a big truck happened yesterday night, 15th of March, 2016. The said truck was coming in from Lagos laden with cartons of Titus Sardins and Dettol disinfectants. and it was said that the driver was on top speed.
According to eye witnesses, the brakes of the truck failed and and the driver rammed into a filling station. The motor boy/conductor died on the spot while the driver who sustained a deep cut to his head was evacuated to a nearby hospital.
The incident happened at Ugwu-Nwasike in Ogidi Anambtra state.
