According to reports, armed Fulani cattle rustlers unleashed terror on a remote community in Benue state yesterday amidst promises by President Muhammadu Buhari to clampdown on their nefarious activities.

According to online reports, over 20 people were reportedly killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue state yesterday, 16th of March, 2016 with over a hundred still uncounted for.
"How many more lives are to be lost before the government and security agencies rise up to the task at hand" a distraught social media user based in Benue who reported the news of the mayhem asked.
There is no official confirmation from the government yet.
