A randy husband has impregnated his house-help who has just spent a few weeks working in his house and tried to hide it from the wife.
A 45-year-old driver has been arrested by the police for allegedly impregnating a 23-year-old woman identified as Josephine in Dutse, Abuja. The girl who just started work as a house-help in the man's house was also kidnapped and taken to Lagos to avoid the man's wife from knowing.
The suspect, a father of five, identified only as Charles, employed the woman to help her wife reduce the work load in their home. But barely few weeks she came, the man impregnated her.
Dailytrust reports that as soon as the suspect noticed the pregnancy, he arranged with his sister staying in Lagos to take her to her house. This was done without the consent of the woman’s parents. It was also in order to hide the act from his wife.
The driver deceived the pregnant house-help into believing that he had to relocate her to Lagos, alleging that his wife was getting worried that he would marry her (Josephine).
The man later relocated to another town in Bwari, so that the girl's relation not to know his whereabouts. However, his luck ran out when he was seen by one of the relation’s of the victim at a garden where he went to relax. She raised alarm.
“The woman quickly raised alarm which attracted other passersby who apprehended and rough handled him before he was eventually arrested by the police,” a source said.
After he was apprehended, he confessed to the police. The story was confirmed by the Dutsen Alhaji Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Aisha Yusuf. He said the house help had since been recovered from the suspect and reunited with her family and the suspect would soon be charged to court.
