Rerun: INEC Materials Arrive Rivers State (Photos)

INEC officials have started deploying election materials to polling units in Rivers State against the re-run election predicted to be a close contest between the APC and PDP

The materials being conveyed to different locations

Amid fear and unease in Rivers state due to political tension, all non-sensitive Independent National Electoral Commission materials have been deployed to each of the 23 Local Government Areas in the state ahead of the Saturday’s federal and state legislative rerun elections.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the state is tensewing the death of an army major and another soldier who were killed yesterday by unknown gunmen in Abonemma, Akukutoru LGA in the state.

The APC and the PDP are blaming each other for the unfortunate killings.
