#RiversRerun: 4 Things Every Nigerian Should Know About the Election

The people of the oil-rich Rivers state are currently on the march again as they elect those that will represent their interest in government.

Today, 19th of March, 2017 is the rerun election in Rivers state, Nigeria.

Here are 3 things every Nigerian should know:

1. The Rivers Rerun Elections will take place in 23 LGAs, 319 Wards and 4,442 Polling Units.

2. Accreditation and Voting will take place simultaneously from 8am-2pm while collation of result at the PU's will commence when d last on d queue voted

3. The election is a battle between Federal and State power.
    
4. The two major actors of this political event are Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi fending for the All Progressives Congress and the governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, defending the legacy of the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
