Academic activities have been suspended at the Osun State Polytechnic.
The suspension was ordered by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP Iree chapter, according to DailyPost.

Recall that the state government had on Monday suspended the Rector of the institution, Dr Tajudeen Odetayo, and replaced him with Akanbi Adeyemi.
In a statement signed by Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, A. K. Jimoh.
Odetayo was accused of financial recklessness, corruption, misappropriation of funds, abuse of office among others.
