A Nigerian lawyer and pastor's wife, Princess Jemimah Ifeng, has stated that submission in marriages has absolutely nothing to do with a woman's money.

She also said that it is the duty of a husband to provide for the family and that if the wife wants to help, it should be voluntary.

"Husbands, Submission In Marriage Has Nothing To Do With Your Wife's Money. It's Your Duty To Provide, Whatever Help She Wants To Give Should Be Voluntary," she said in a Facebook post on Monday, July 24.

She also advised hardworking women not to marry lazy men.
