Dakuku Peterside, former gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers state has been accused of having a hand in the death of the Governor Wike's aide.

The Rivers State government claims that security details of NIMASA DG, Dakuku Peterside, shot an aide of Chief of Staff to Governor Nyesom Wike at UTC junction in Port Harcourt.

The government also claimed Dakuku Peterside fled with stolen results from Ikwerre LGA. The identity of the deceased has been given as Mr. Emeka Woke, the Chief of Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt.
